Members / Students

In Karri we use the term members to refer to the core members of your organization that are the target of the collections you create. You can change what Karri uses and label members by the term you use, e.g. Students, Parishioners.

Organisations

An organisation refers to the school, church, club or β€œcompany” listed on Karri. An organisation has access to their own personal dashboard where they can create and view collections, manage staff, members, subscribers and have access to all of Karri’s features.

Students

Subscribers / Parents

We use subscribers to refer to the people who are interested in collections that the member has been invited to. These can be parents, guardians, au pairs. A subscriber will be invited to all the collections the member is invited to. By using the Karri app, a subscriber can also pay on-behalf-of the member. As with members, you can change what Karri uses and label subscribers by the term you use, e.g. Parents, Guardians.

Depending on your organization, you may need to know who the subscribers are because your members are under-aged or require guardians. In those cases, Karri will enable subscriber visibility in your organization.

Shopping Lists

We use the term Shopping List to refer to a list of items that you want to offer as part of a collection. It is the Karri way of re-usable lists that can be attached to collections.
