Staff
Organization Staff are Karri users with permission to access specified parts of the selected organization. Access Staff Groups using the menu on the left of the Dashboard.
Staff Groups is the way Karri groups staff with the same permissions.
List View
This is the default landing page for listing and searching for staff.
[ Actions ]
is a menu of advanced options that allows you to download the list of staff, or to Import Staff from an Excel file.[ Staff Groups ]
is a shortcut to switch to the Staff Groups List View.
Searching for Staff
Type the staff member's first or last name.
Click and the list will be filtered to those staff that match.
Adding Staff
Click
[+ Add Staff Member]
.Input the email address for the staff member.
Karri will check if the staff member already has an account:
If the user already has an account, they will receive an invite to your organization.
If the user does not have an account, an account will be created for them. They will receive an invite to create their password and will then be logged into the organization.
Fill in their details and add them to the appropriate permission groups..
Click
Submit
to save the details.
Users that are not added to any groups will be able to login but will not be able to view any functional area.
Code: This is the user’s Karri code. It is our unique identifier for this specific person. (Remember, there may be many people with the same name within the system.)
Bulk Import Staff
Use the [Actions]
menu to select Import Staff
. Refer to Import Staff
Viewing and Editing Staff
Click on the staff member you want to view.
Click
[📝 Edit]
to edit the staff member’s details.
Confused as to why you cannot edit certain fields in some cases?
If the user has an active Karri account, only they can change their own email address and mobile number.
Removing Staff
Click on the staff member you want to remove.
Click
[✖ Remove]
to remove the user’s account and prevent them from accessing your organization.Confirm the deletion.
Resetting Staff Passwords
Staff can reset their own passwords via the Karri login screen, refer to Logging in.
If they are not able to receive their emails, they can contact the Karri staff to help diagnose and resolve the issue.
Requires canViewStaff and canEditStaff permissions.
