Agreements
This article will show you how to design and add agreements to your collection.
What is an Agreement in Karri?
Agreements in Karri is the collective term for forms that can be attached to collections that require acceptance before purchase/acknowledgement. Some types of agreements include:
Indemnity forms
Permission slips
Waivers
Terms & Conditions
Disclaimers
Use cases include:
Combine with an Attendance event to gather permission slips for an outing to the park.
Consent forms for a sleepover at school.
Indemnity form for transportation to an event
Liability waiver for a tour.
Terms for service offered through collection.
Disclaimer for a product offered through a collection.
List View
This is the usual landing page for listing and managing agreements.
When you first arrive the list will be missing, but once you add one you will be presented with something similar to this:
Filtering and Searching for Agreements
Type part of the agreement name.
It will automatically filter to those items that match.
Use the pagination buttons on the right to move from one page to the next.
Adding Agreements
Click
[+ New Agreement]
.Fill in the information for the new agreement. e.g.
The
Confirmation Type
refers to how you want the user to confirm acceptance, we don’t just want them to click a button to say accept, we need to have at least some indication that they read it.Checkbox
displays a checkbox that the user must check as well in order to accept.Text Confirmation
displays an input box that the user has to type in the wordconfirm
in order to accept.
Questions (optional)
is a section where you can attach questions to the agreement that you’d like the user to input (all optional for now). There are a number of pre-defined questions which can be selected and then there is also the option of custom questions.Select the question and then click
Add
to position the question.You can edit the question label as needed.
The arrows allow you to move the questions up and down in the list.
Click
Submit
to save the new form
Because the agreement has to appear correctly on a multitude of mobile devices, we severely restrict the amount of formatting that can be applied. That said, it is always good to review the collection after it has been opened to confirm that it reads well.
Changes to the agreement take effect on the next attempt to display the form.

Marking the text will cause a popup menu to appear that allows you to format the marked text or the current paragraph.

Tip: Do not over-format, it makes it difficult to read
Editing Agreements
Click on the agreement you want to edit.
Click
[Edit]
to make changes.
Removing Agreements
Click on the agreement you want to remove.
Click
[✖ Delete]
to remove the agreement.Confirm the deletion.
You will not be able to delete any agreement that is in use by any collection on record.
Requires canViewAgreements and canEditAgreements permissions.
