Managing Partial Payment Collections

This assumes you’ve read the section on Partial Payments in Types of Collections .
Enabling partial payments on your Karri collection means that you are giving parents the option to pay for the collection in “bitesize payments”, this is ideal for big sports tours, school fees or other large payments in which parents may not be able to pay the full amount immediately.
When creating partial payment collection you need to either choose the Fixed Amount option OR the Custom Amount option. Once you’ve created your collection, simply tick the box Partial Payments found under Advanced Options.
Parents will be able to add in their own amount that they’d like to pay towards the collection and will see the below screen every time they make a payment:
You’ll be able to keep a close eye on the payment statuses of your parents on the dashboard, the amount paid and the amount still owing. You can also keep a record of any money paid towards the collection by cash / card.
By clicking on Actions, Export View you can export a list of the total amount paid for each student and, by clicking Export Transactions you can export a list of all partial payments made per student.
