Managing Custom Amount Collections

This assumes you’ve read the section on Custom Amounts in Types of Collections .
Custom amount collections enable you to send custom or individual collection amounts to app users.
This collection type is ideal for the following types of collections:
Collecting individual fees (amounts differ from member to member)
School fee payments with different payment schedules for parents
Fundraisers where parents or members have pledged different amounts (spelling bees or swimathons)
Importing excel sheets from your existing billing system
When a custom amount collection has been created successfully, the below collection management screen will be displayed:
The custom amount amount icon will be displayed in the top right-hand corner to indicate that this is a custom amount collection - so each member owes a unique amount.
The unique amount owed by each person is displayed next to the member’s name under the “Amount” column. The amount paid is shown in the “Collected” column next to the member’s name. This enables the dashboard user to see what each person owes and see what has been paid.
